Holiday Mobilization DUI Checkpoint

On Friday December 28, 2007 from 6pm to 1am. the Lompoc Police Department will be conducting a checkpoint for the purpose of locating people driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, and driving with no license or while their license is suspended.  People found to be driving while not licensed or under the influence can expect to be arrested and their cars either impounded or forfeited. 

Performing sobriety checkpoints sends a message to the driving public that we care about their safety.  The Lompoc Police Department is committed to driver safety and will enforce DUI laws with every tool available to include, stakeouts, saturation patrols, and checkpoints. 

Funding for this DUI Checkpoint was provided by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
