LOMPOC P.D. DUI CHECKPOINT RESULTS

The Lompoc Police Department is dedicated to keeping our roadways safe through both enforcement and education. On Friday August 28th and 29th, 2009 the Lompoc Police Department conducted a DUI / Drivers License checkpoint in the
1100 block of north “H” Street and the 1700 block of east Ocean Avenue. . The purpose of the checkpoint was not only to detect and arrest drivers under the influence of alcohol / drugs, but also locate drivers who were unlicensed, as well as remind everyone of the dangers of impaired driving.
The following charges/arrests were made during the checkpoint:
